We help outdoor enthusiasts pursue and share their passions, while giving back to the places and people we connect with.

How it all started

I am the illustrator and creator of Sherpa Ant and I live, draw and play in Massachusetts with my husband, Erich, and daughter, Sierra. I grew up hiking in the White Mountains, not only peak-bagging but discovering the less traveled trails. When I returned home after completing my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2013, I had a vision for an art print that not only looked beautiful on the wall but helped me discover new trails. As a constant list maker, I also wanted this map to include the trails I had already hiked. After many sketches, the "Color In Hiking Trail Map" was completed.

On the trail

I put everything on hold for 6 months while my husband and I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2016. When I got home, inspiration to merge art and outdoor activity together was overflowing and Sherpa Ant was created. 

Learning as we grow

Since officially opening the Sherpa Ant online shop, I have expanded to include greeting cards, apparel, other maps and prints, and gift items.
